Britain’s most competitive female racer Jenny Tinmouth will make her return to the Bennetts British Superbike Championship paddock this season, lining up in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 support class on a Phil Crowe Performance BMW S1000RR.
Ellesmere Port based Tinmouth has been a regular contender in the British paddock for several seasons, competing in the British Supersport Cup class and became the first female to line up on the Bennetts BSB grid, running her own team before joining Honda Racing.
Tinmouth said: “I’m delighted announce that I’ll be racing on a Phil Crowe Performance BMW S1000RR in the National Superstock Championship with the support of the Ashcourt Group this season and I’ll be changing race number to 25.
“The bike is being prepared by the fantastic team at Crowe Performance and using funds from my Go Fund Me I’ve snuck myself onto a test with the crew at Jerez in Spain this coming weekend. I have to say massive thanks, as always, to everyone who has donated as you got me to this point.
“I’m super excited and can’t wait to get some laps in now! The bike will be pretty standard on the test but it’s just for me to get some laps in before it is fully race prepared back at the Crowe workshops.
“I’m really grateful to Crowe Performance for the opportunity to utilise their brand new BMW race bike for the season and to Ashcourt for their support. I hope we have a great season and I can’t wait to reveal our bike design once we are ready to unveil it before the first round at Silverstone.
“I’m looking forward to announcing some new sponsors soon too and I still have sponsorship opportunities available, but for any enquiries you can contact [email protected].”
