TYSERS Yamaha Rory Skinner stormed to his second pole position of 2020 in the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship at Snetterton, taking it by 0.517 from Bradley Perie and James Westmoreland.
Skinner stormed ahead of the field after the opening five minutes, leading the field by over half a second, with a battle between four riders to chase him down ensuing. Ashcourt Racing’s Lee Johnston came the closest to toppling the Championship leader, but then the Scotsman improved once again in time after a mid-session change.
The Yamaha man held the top spot to the flag, taking his second pole position of the season. Bradley Perie will line up second on the grid, with Gearlink Kawasaki’s James Westmoreland third.
Lee Johnston will line up fourth, with Harry Truelove fifth and James Rose sixth.
