Series leader Rory Skinner powered to his third pole position of the 2020 Quattro Group British Supersport Championship at Silverstone by 0.497 ahead of James Westmoreland and Bradley Perie.
It was Tysers Yamaha’s Brad Jones who led the session from the opening few laps, but it didn’t take long before his teammate Rory Skinner found his feet and took over at the top of the sheets. But Jones and the rest of the field would continue to chase down his time, swapping places after each and every lap.
As the clocked ticked away the pack began to close down the Championship leader at the top of the timesheets but to no avail, allowing Skinner to take his hat-trick of poles by almost half a second.
