Quattro Team ABM Racing has announced that Alastair Seeley and Charlie Nesbitt will contest the 2020 Quattro Group British GP2 Championship ahead of the opening round of the season at Silverstone this Easter (April 10/11/12).
After a successful 2019 in the British GP2 Championship, where Quattro Team ABM Racing scored four victories and 10 podiums on their way to finishing second in the series, the team are now firmly setting their sights on taking the 2020 crown.
Alastair Seeley returns to the team after two seasons away with the task of taking the title, the Northern Irishman has previous experience with the ABM chassis after impressing during its debut season in 2017, taking a handful of victories against full blooded Supersport machines.
Lining up alongside the ‘Wee Wizard’ will be former British Motostar champion and hot prospect Charlie Nesbitt, after impressing in his first full year in the Supersport 600 division.
ABM will also field Harry Rowlings in the 2020 Quattro Group British GP2 Championship on the all new ABM GP2 Evo machine which is based on the production 675R Daytona.
For the third season in succession ABM maintain Quattro Plant as title partners. The Stratford based company have supported motorcycle racing for many years, and continue to do so by supporting the team, alongside becoming title sponsors of the British Supersport and GP2 Championship classes for 2020.
