Kyle Ryde topped the Bennetts British Superbike Championship warm up session at Snetterton this morning, again waiting until his final lap to post his fastest time, putting him 0.202s ahead of Glenn Irwin ahead of rounds five and six this afternoon.
Glenn Irwin had been the pacesetter of the majority of the ten-minute session, but the championship leader was pipped at the end by Ryde’s final lap. Andrew Irwin had a strong warm up session to post the third fastest time, just ahead of Jason O'Halloran, who had been holding second position until the improvements in the final minute.
Lee Jackson was fifth fastest for Massingberd-Mundy Kawasaki, ahead of yesterday’s race winner Christian Iddon and VisionTrack Ducati teammate Josh Brookes, with Peter Hickman, Jack Kennedy and Bradley Ray completing the top ten.
