Yamaha Motor UK will continue its longstanding partnership with the Bennetts British Superbike Championship in 2021 with the all-new NMAX 125 becoming the series’ official paddock scooter.
Series organiser MotorSport Vision Racing (MSVR) have taken delivery of six of the brand-new NMAX 125 scooters ahead of the 2021 season getting underway at Oulton Park next week (June 25/26/27).
Already the best-selling powered two-wheeler in the UK despite only being launched in March, the NMAX 125 is a premium scooter with a sporty character aimed at A1 riders, commuters and commercial users. A combination of lively engine performance along with excellent riding comfort, remarkable economy and high build quality has ensured its ongoing success as one of Yamaha’s most popular models.
For 2021 the NMAX 125 sees an all-new body design as well as a new frame, plus a premium finish with extra detailing. The Blue Core engine is fully EU5-compliant and NMAX now features Yamaha’s industry-leading Communication Control Unit, bringing total connectivity.
Excellent agility, easy stability, new stop-start technology and generous inbuilt storage make NMAX 125 the perfect way to get around the Bennetts BSB paddocks. It will be ridden by series officials throughout the weekend, beginning its role at the start of an event as the complex operation begins of arranging the hundreds of working, living and hospitality vehicles into their specific places.
Yamaha will also supply MSVR with six Ténéré 700s to be used as taxi bikes.
Jeff Turner, Marketing Manager, Yamaha Motor UK commented: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with the Bennetts British Superbike Championship in 2021 as the official supplier of paddock scooters and taxi bikes. NMAX 125 is a versatile machine with every day uses from commuting to the hectic and fast-paced world of city couriers, and the high specification and new features on the latest model make it perfect for the officials and marshals navigating the bustling BSB paddocks.”
