Morello Racing’s Danny Kent stormed to his second pole position of 2020 at Silverstone by 0.218, with Damon Rees second and Chrissy Rouse rounding out the front row.
It was Rich Energy OMG Racing’s Billy McConnell who started the session the stronger, posting a 54.914, to give him the upper hand over the chasing field. But with 15 minutes to go, the rest of the pack started to chase him down, with Tim Neave leading the charge.
As the session ticked away the former Moto3 World Champion put in his fastest lap of the weekend to snatch his second pole of the 2020 season. Astro JJR Racing’s Damon Rees will line up second, with Chrissy Rouse third.
