Cameron Horsman will make a return to the Quattro Group British GP2 Championship this season, as the 19-year-old prepares for his second campaign with the Go Racing SGR Team with support from Nova Racing.
Horsman had a strong rookie season in the championship last season, scoring a victory at Donington Park, plus a further two podium finishes to end the season sixth overall in the standings after only failing to finish in the points in one race.
Horsman said: “I am delighted to return to the Go Racing SGR Team and for the continued support of Nova Racing and Chassis Factory. After such an encouraging start to my GP2 career last season it was an easy decision to return to the same team this year. I want to thank Mark Sadler of Go Racing Developments and Steve Kinghorn for believing in me.
“I feel really positive about the season ahead and don’t see why we should not be running in the front group at races and I am expecting more podium success this year, there will be plenty of opportunities this season to achieve my goals. My training is going well and I cannot wait to get out on track in the pre-season tests.”
