Charlie Farrer grabbed the victory in the final Honda British Talent Cup race of the weekend at Donington Park, taking the win on the final lap from Evan Belford and Casey O’Gorman.
After a great start it was Harvey Claridge who made the best leap off the line, with O’Gorman, Farrer and Belford all joining the battle for the lead. But, on lap three the leader crashed out, handing it to O’Gorman. By half race distance of the 12 laps, the battle for the lead was between five riders, with Farrer heading the bunch.
In the closing stages of the race O’Shea led the way, but he just couldn’t pull away with the bunch of five swapping places until the last lap. O’Gorman headed the field into the final circulation, but it would be Charlie Farrer who took the victory, with Belford second and O’Gorman third.
