The CF Motorsport team will be making a return to the Bennetts British Superbike Championship paddock in 2021, announcing they will line up in the Pirelli National Superstock 600 class with Jack Bednarek.
CF Motorsport have been working closely with Bednarek over the past two years, who began racing in 2019 and since then he has had success competing in the Thundersport Championship.
Bednarek said: “I am really happy to announce that I will be joining CF Motorsport for my debut in the National Superstock 600 Championship next year. I am really excited for next season racing at British level with such a great team.
“Racing within a professional environment will be a lot different, but at the same time so exciting and I’m really looking forward to this new experience. I don’t have any expectations apart from to give it one hundred percent each time I throw my leg over the bike. Next year looks to be an exciting one with lots planned with the team.
“The hard work has already started and I’m training very hard in preparation for my debut season in BSB. I’m also looking forward to learning lots within the season, both on track and off it, to develop my riding further each time I ride. I’d like to take the time to thank Craig and the rest of the CF Motorsport team for this excellent opportunity. Bring on 2021!”
Team owner Craig Fitzpatrick commented: “I am looking forward to taking Jack into the Superstock Championship next year. We have had many fun years bringing young riders like Jake Dixon, Kyle Ryde and Ben Currie into the series and also won the championship in 2014.
“It is a big step for jack as he has only been riding two seasons on track and this year has obviously been very disrupted with COVID, so he has not had as much time on the 600 as I would have liked, but it’s the same for most of the younger riders out there.
“We are still talking to riders to team mate Jack in Superstock or Supersport so we will be hoping to make some more announcements soon.”
