Scott Redding is feeling fired up for the penultimate round of the ZYN British Superbike Championship at Donington Park (October 2/3/4) this weekend as the Hager PBM Racing Team contender bids to add to his recent victories last time out at the TT Circuit Assen.
Redding did the double at the Dutch circuit before he was denied the treble in the final race of the weekend, but heading back to Donington Park where he scored a victory earlier in the season, the 2019 champion is ready for the fight.
Redding said: “Donington Park coming up this weekend and we are back for the Showdown. Donington Park is obviously a good track for me and a good track for Kyle. Last time out it was very clear where my weak points were, so I would like to try to eliminate that a little bit and give myself more of a fighting chance to win some more races.
“I’m feeling good though after Assen, so I’m feeling pumped and ready to get this next round of the Showdown underway. I’m not giving up the fight yet; there’s still fight in this old dog and I’m looking forward to it! I am looking forward to being back at Donington again; it’s always a great track that delivers some good racing and let’s see what we can do.”
