FIM Sidecar World Championship:
Brit Harry Payne and his Steinhausen Racing passenger Kevin Rousseau extended their championship lead today after two solid victories.
The 2024 World Champions beat brothers Sam and Thomas Christie by more than five seconds in this morning’s 10-lap Sprint race as Pekka Paivarinta and Adam Christie were third.
In their one-off tribute special yellow livery, Payne and Rousseau once again launched themselves off the line in the Main race to hit the front and quickly cleared off into the distance with the Christies second – eventually taking victory some 12.697secs clear of the reigning champs.
But the big battle was for third, as wildcard Lewis Blackstock and Oscar Lawrence fought hard with Paivarinta and Christie all the way to the flag to eventually claim the final podium spot.

BeNeLux Trophy :
Jamie van Sikkelerus doubled up with the win in the second race of the weekend – but it was a much harder scrap than yesterday as he battled Jef van Calster all the way.
Van Calster took the lead at the start before van Sikkelerus hit the front on Lap Two as the pair came under pressure from Sander Claessen, who took the lead briefly on Lap Six.
Van Calster got back ahead but he was unable to shake off a flying van Sikkelerus, who dived back into the lead on the penultimate lap to take the win by just 0.103secs.

Moto4 Northern Cup:
Anina Urlass pipped Adam Vyskocil to the second race win of the weekend after a hard-fought 14-lap scrap.
Polesitter Vyskocil got out ahead at the start and led for a few laps before several other riders started to take their turn at
the front, including Swan Emprin, Viktor Cech and Jason Rudolph.
But in the final few laps it became a two-way fight between Vyskocil and Urlass, which eventually went the way of Urlass at the flag as yesterday’s winner, Robin Siegert, was third.
