R&G Moto4 British Cup: Dunabie holds off Holt to win final race of the year

04 October 2026

He may have missed out on the title this morning, but Jack Dunabie has ended the Moto4 British Cup season on a high after beating Marco Holt to the final victory of the year.

With the championship sealed earlier, this afternoon’s third race of the weekend was a chance for runner-up Dunabie to shine – but it wasn’t an easy run after a typically hard-fought race.

Frost, running the number one plate in this final race of the year, found his way straight to the front ahead of Dunabie at the start – but in true Moto4 style, the lead swapped several times over the course of the 14-lap race between Frost, Dunabie, Marco Holt and Harrison Day.

As the final lap began, Dunabie was fifth but he scythed through into second position and then made one final move on leader Holt to hit the front, holding the spot to the flag.

Holt finished just 0.060secs behind in second with Day third, Frost fourth and Mason Foster fifth.
