Scott Redding claimed the leading position in the second ZYN British Superbike Championship Free Practice session at Donington Park, launching the Hager PBM Racing Team to the top of the times by 0.187s from Ryan Vickers in the final moments.
Vickers had topped the opening session from Redding, but the positions reversed ahead of Pre-Qualifying with the 2019 champion holding the edge at the chequered flag. Kyle Ryde completed the top three; the Nitrous Coin Nitrous Competitions Racing rider had set the early benchmark in the session, but would end 0.189s adrift of the pace-setting lap.
Max Cook was fourth fasted on the AJN Steelstock bimota, just ahead of Bradley Ray on the McAMS Yamaha and Jason O'Halloran completed the top six.
Danny Kent was the leading Cheshire Mouldings Yamaha in seventh place ahead of teammate Rory Skinner with Glenn Irwin and Christian Iddon completing the top ten.
