Zak Shelton set the Sportbike pace this morning as the Donington Park weekend got underway, beating Daniel Goodman by 0.320secs.
Shelton hit the top of the timesheets with a lap of 1min 35.660secs with several minutes to run and held off the rest until the flag.
Goodman was second fastest as Kieran Kent put in a fast final lap to go third at the flag, knocking Carl Harris down to fourth with Cameron Dawson fifth.
