Oliver Barr emerged fastest in this morning’s qualifying session to claim pole ahead of this afternoon’s Supersport Sprint race.
In a session which was stopped twice due to rider crashes, the Binch Pro Ducati rider clocked a best lap of 1min 27.612secs.
Honda Racing UK rider Jack Kennedy, who could still lift what would be his sixth Supersport title this weekend, had led early in the session until Barr set his best lap on his ninth lap.
It was enough to take him 0.155sec clear of Kennedy, who had to settle for second at the flag.
Oli Bayliss was third quickest to claim the final front row position as points leader Luke Stapleford was fourth. The Scars-Racing Ducati rider will head Row Two, with Ben Currie alongside him in fifth position.
Keo Walker was the fastest of the Cup runners, finishing the session p24 overall with Ben Tolliday second in class and Cam Swain third.
