Kieran Smith and Nikki Coates will head the grids for tomorrow’s two BMW F 900 R Cup heats – as points leader Barry Burrell lines up P2.
Defending champ Burrell was fastest this morning but could only manage the fourth quickest time in this afternoon’s Qualifying session.
K Smith was quickest with a 1min 33.983sec lap to take pole for tomorrow’s opening Heat, 0.194secs clear of Coates who will lead Heat Two.
Bobby Varey was third quickest ahead of Burrell with Christian Smith fifth. C Smith will round out the front row in Heat One as Davey Todd who was sixth quickest will line up alongside Burrell in P3 for Heat Two.
Burrell arrives this weekend with a 22-point lead over K Smith, with Varey and Coates also still in with a chance of taking the honours – meaning every point in tomorrow’s Heats will be invaluable to take into Sunday.
