DAO Racing continues Honda UK partnership for 2027

05 November 2026

DAO Racing has confirmed it will continue its partnership with Honda UK for the 2027 ZYN British Superbike Championship, with closer collaboration on the development of the new Fireblade for the forthcoming season.

DAO Racing switched to Honda in 2025 and now looks ahead to the new era of BSB in 2027 as they enter their third consecutive season with the manufacturer, building on an increasingly strong working relationship.

The continued partnership will see DAO Racing work closely alongside Honda Racing UK, with both teams focused on the development of the new Honda package.

Jonny Bagnall, DAO Racing Team Manager, commented: “We’re pleased to be remaining with Honda for 2027 and to continue building our relationship. It’s becoming stronger as we work together on shared challenges, which makes continuing that partnership even more positive.

“Honda have been so welcoming and supportive, and we’ll be working alongside them to help develop and build the new Fireblade into what we hope will be a race-winning bike.

“It’s great to have that level of support from Scot Hargreaves, Neil Fletcher and Honda UK, and we’re looking forward to working closely together.”

Scot Hargreaves, Honda Racing UK Team Manager, concluded: “It’s a privilege to keep DAO Racing under the Honda wing. They’re a great team with great people, and they share a similar work ethic to Honda Racing.

“I believe that, by continuing to grow together, we can build a stronger Honda package across the board. That can only be a positive and will help both of our teams.”
