Ryde doubles up as Haslam and Ray make it a champions podium lock out

Kyle Ryde claimed a second race win of the 2026 ZYN British Superbike Championship at Oulton Park this afternoon, holding the advantage from Leon Haslam and Bradley Ray in an-all champion’s lock out again on the podium.

Max Cook had the best start off the line, launching the AJN Steelstock bimota to the front of the pack on the opening lap from Haslam and Ray with Ryde holding fourth. The defending champion was eyeing his moves, passing his McAMS Yamaha rival on the opening lap and then diving down the inside of Haslam at Island.

A lap later and Ryde had grabbed the lead, whilst Cook continued to be under pressure from his rivals; eventually ending the race sixth to equal his result from yesterday on his debut weekend with the AJN Steelstock bimota.

Haslam had Ray for company and despite his best efforts; the McAMS Yamaha rider wasn’t able to move ahead as his Moto Rapido Racing rival delivered a determined ride to keep him behind over the closing laps.

Scott Redding was battling with Storm Stacey early in the race and the Hager PBM Racing Team rider had the edge to seal fourth after bridging a gap to the Bathams AJN Racing Ducati rider, after the pair both made a move on Cook.

Ryan Vickers was seventh for Honda Racing UK, he held off Rory Skinner on the Cheshire Mouldings Yamaha, with Joe Talbot securing another top ten finish in ninth, ahead of Lee Jackson on the leading DAO Racing Honda.

It was another difficult race for Glenn Irwin on the second of the Nitrous Coin Nitrous Competitions Racing Ducatis, he was dropping back through the field before
