David Allingham continued to dominate in the Superstock series this afternoon as he strolled to the win in the first race of the season.
After topping the timesheets in both practice sessions and then qualifying in pole position, the SMS/Nicholl Oil BMW rider rocketed off the line and into the lead – and was never in any danger.
Lewis Rollo had followed him in the opening laps but the gap soon grew to more than two seconds, while behind Rollo, Luke Mossey was on a charge.
Mossey passed Rollo on the fifth lap but was unable to close in on the leader and eventually settled for second when the race was stopped three laps early following a crash by Cam Dixon.
Rollo secured third and the final podium spot, with Scott Swann fourth and Eemili Lahti fifth.
