Alfie Davidson held off Cameron Dawson to steal the Race One win by 0.049secs, following a race-long battle.
Dawson had charged off the line and soared past polesitter Davidson, but it took less than two laps for Davidson to regroup and get back ahead.
Once ahead, however, he wasn’t able to shake Dawson, who snapped at his heels for the remaining 10 laps. Dawson had a few looks up the inside in the final two laps but was never able to get past, and Davidson finally took the win at the end of the 12 lap battle.
Harley McCabe was third, 1.852secs behind Dawson with Rossi Banham fourth and Asher Durham fifth.
