Pirelli British Sportbike Championship: Davidson pips Dawson for double win

04 May 2026

Alfie Davidson claimed his second win of the day in the final race at Oulton Park as he held off Cameron Dawson and Harley McCabe for victory.

McCabe had led for the early part of the 12-lap battle, but Davidson was never too far away and hit the front on the fifth lap. But McCabe wasn’t giving up and took the place straight back, holding it for two more laps.

The pair swapped places a few more times but Davidson eventually got ahead and pulled a small gap. Meanwhile, Dawson was on a charge, passing McCabe for second on the final lap and made a last gasp charge to pass Davidson but couldn’t make it, settling for second place, 0.175secs adrift at the flag.

McCabe took third, just 0.182secs behind Dawson as Rossi Banham was fourth and Asher Durham fifth.
