The 2026 ZYN British Superbike Championship kicked off this morning at Oulton Park with Bradley Ray leading the times in the opening Free Practice session from reigning champion Kyle Ryde by 0.263s.
Ray had set the benchmark during the opening session with Ryde holding second as he launched his title defence with the Nitrous Coin Nitrous Competitions Racing team, Leon Haslam completed the top three as the leading positions were a lockout of BSB champions.
Glenn Irwin moved fourth in the closing stages on the second of the Nitrous Coin Nitrous Competitions Racing Ducati, just ahead of Storm Stacey on the Bathams AJN Racing Ducati with the pair moving ahead of AJN Steelstock bimota’s Max Cook in the closing stages.
Josh Brookes was seventh on the leading DAO Racing Honda as he remained ahead of Ryan Vickers who led the Honda Racing UK pairing with Cheshire Mouldings Yamaha’s Danny Kent and Rory Skinner completing the top ten.
