Nikki Coates got his championship challenge off to a flying start this morning as he beat Josh Corner to the fastest lap during first practice by almost a second.
The LDC BMW by Frimley Pits Racin rider clocked a 1min 37.458s lap, 0.924secs clear of Corner, as Christian Smith was third.
Bobby Varey was fourth quickest at the chequered flag, with James Ellison fifth.
