Luke Stapleford picked up where he left off a fortnight ago as he topped the timesheets at the end of FP1 at Donington Park this morning.
After his double win at Oulton Park gave him an early points lead, the Scars-Racing Ducati man proved it was no fluke as he took early charge in FP1.
Stapleford clocked a hot lap of 1min 30.799s to pip Honda Racing UK’s Jack Kennedy by 0.078s, as Oliver Barr claimed the third quickest time.
Just behind was Harry Truelove who emerged fourth after the opening session, with Carter Brown fifth.
Cam Swain was the quickest of the club class riders, with Adam Hartgrove second fastest and Jamie Richmond third.
