Bradley Ray and the McAMS Yamaha team started their 2026 ZYN British Superbike Championship preparations with an opening two-day test at Andalucía in Spain this week, as they bid to go one better in the 2026 title fight.
Ray took the title fight down to the wire last season, and the McAMS Yamaha rider started off the 2026 preparations with a positive two days on track in Spain with lap-record contending pace while working through a structured test plan.
Ray said: “We’ve just finished up two days of testing out here in Andalucía. It was nice to be back out with the crew and spinning laps. We managed to get through quite a lot in testing that we don’t normally get the chance to try during race weekends, so it was nice to tick a few boxes and get more information on the R1.
“We are looking forward to taking everything back to the Donington Park test in a few weeks’ time and carrying on with our work there. So just a big thanks to all the team, to Steve and to all the boys for working so hard over the last few days and we’ll carry the work back into England.”
