Barry Burrell remained the man to beat this afternoon after his opening session lap of 58.191secs kept him at the top of the free practice timesheets.
While everyone else clocked faster laps than the opening session, the reigning champ’s earlier lap was enough to keep him ahead.
Kenny Macleod stayed p2, with a better time of 58.318secs but was still 0.127s adrift of Burrell’s best, as Christian Smith was third, Declan MacLeenan fourth and Nikki Coates fifth.
