Jack Kennedy’s fastest lap from this morning’s first free practice session remained the quickest of the day as rain continued to fall at Knockhill this afternoon.
The Honda Racing UK rider was one of a number of riders who opted not to go out in FP2, as the Scottish weather continued to play its hand.
As the second session drew to a close, it was Binch Pro Ducati’s Carter Brown who led the way from Jack Mahaffy.
But Brown’s best lap of 54.638 was still 1.204s down from Kennedy’s 53.434 this morning, which meant no change at the top of the timesheets.
At the end of Day One, Kennedy sits at the top with Lucas Brown second, Ben Currie third, Luke Stapleford fourth and Oliver Barr fifth.
There was also no change in the Cup class order, with Keo Walker first in p15 with Ben Tolliday second and Craig Kennelly third.
