Jack Kennedy led the way as Round Three began in typically Scottish wet conditions at Knockhill this morning.
The Honda Racing UK rider took bragging rights from the opening session, as he splashed to a best lap of 53.434secs to end FP1 0.032secs clear of Lucas Brown on the MSG Racing Suzuki.
Ben Currie was third fastest ahead of points leader Luke Stapleford in fourth, as Oliver Barr rounded out the top five.
In the Cup class, Keo Walker emerged fastest, ending the session p15 overall with Ben Tolliday second and Craig Kennelly third.
