Billy McConnell will join the MMB Racing team at Knockhill, returning in the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship after deputising for the Triumph Macadam Factory Racing at the opening two rounds.
McConnell has been a regular contender in the Supersport class and will now join James McManus and line up on a Ducati for the first time, something that the Australian is relishing as a new challenge.
McConnell said: “I am happy to be riding back in Superport this weekend after a fantastic time with the Triumph team at the first two rounds. Now it’s time for a new bike and new team for Knockhill, joining the MMB racing team and also to be riding a Ducati for the first time. I am really excited to get back on the grid so I want to say a big thanks to the team for the opportunity.”
