Ray: “We have what it takes to challenge for wins and podiums”

16 June 2026

McAMS Yamaha’s Bradley Ray arrives at Knockhill feeling confident ahead of this weekend’s ZYN British Superbike Championship round; the Scottish circuit has long been a happy hunting ground for both the rider and the Yamaha R1, most recently when the 29-year-old swept to a double victory there last year.

Ray currently sits fourth in the standings heading into round three, his best results to date being three third-place finishes at Oulton Park earlier in the year. Back on familiar and favourable ground, the team are determined to use the weekend as a launch pad - targeting a move up the championship standings.

Ray said: “I’m ready to get going at Knockhill again this weekend, it’s been a strong circuit for me in the past and the belief is there that we have what it takes to challenge for wins and podiums. My feeling with the Yamaha R1 continues to improve as we get further into the year, and the team have been working hard to refine the package as much as possible and give me an improved feeling across the board.

“We’re not a million miles away from where we need to be, so we’ll head into the weekend with the aim of extracting more from the bike and determined as ever to bring home a solid set of results.”
