The ZYN British Superbike Championship returns to Scotland for the annual visit to Knockhill next weekend (June 19/20/21) and on Thursday 18 June ahead of the event, fans can meet some of the riders in Edinburgh.
The Royal Scottish Academy on Princes Street, at the bottom of the Mound, is one of the most iconic locations in Scotland and between 3pm – 4pm next Thursday, home hero Rory Skinner will be joined by fellow home hope Lewis Rollo to meet fans ahead of the weekend.
Reigning champion Kyle Ryde will also attend as he leads the title chase to Knockhill, alongside Max Cook, after his strongest weekend last time out at Donington Park. Storm Stacey will also be taking his top hat on tour into the heart of Edinburgh to meet fans ahead of the third round.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary season, a collection of Superbikes will also be on display, featuring championship machinery from past and present. Fans will be able to see Ryde’s Nitrous Coin Nitrous Competitions Racing Ducati and Rory Skinner’s Cheshire Mouldings Yamaha, alongside historic machines including Steve Hislop’s Virgin Yamaha and Leon Camier’s title-winning Airwaves Yamaha.
Home favourite in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship, Lewis Rollo will also attend with his Motorrad Central Edinburgh By MLav Racing BMW, with fans also able to have photographs with the BMW Safety Car.
Fans will also be able to purchase advance tickets for the ZYN BSB event at Knockhill on the day.
