Oli Bayliss will be back in Quattro Group British Supersport Championship at Knockhill next weekend (June 19/20/21) with the Triumph Macadam Factory Racing team for his opening appearance of the season.
Bayliss was a podium finisher with the team last season at Snetterton and arrives back in the British Championship paddock to deputise for Bradley Perie as he continues his recovery from injury.
Bayliss said: “I'm really excited to have another go with the Macadam Triumph Factory Team at the next few rounds of British Supersport. Due to my commitments in World Supersport, I have missed the first two rounds, so starting off at Knockhill should be pretty interesting. It will be my first time racing there, but I did a track day a few weeks ago and enjoyed the layout so it should be good.
“It's going to be exciting racing the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS in the two championships this season, it will be busy doing both, but I consider myself lucky for that situation. Most of the tracks are new to me, with the exception of Snetterton, Oulton Park and of course Donington Park, which is one of my favourite circuits. I'm looking forward to getting going and working with the Macadam team again, and see how we get on.”
