Ryde holds off Cook and Redding in warm up at Snetterton

05 July 2026

Reigning champion Kyle Ryde topped the ZYN British Superbike Championship warm up session at Snetterton, setting the pace from Max Cook on the AJN Steelstock bimota by 0.365s ahead of today’s two races in Norfolk.

In cooler conditions, Ryde launched the Nitrous Coin Nitrous Competitions Racing Ducati to the top of the times, keeping Cook at bay in the closing minutes of the session as Scott Redding closed in during the final stages to claim third place.

Leon Haslam was fourth fastest for the Moto Rapido Racing team with Rory Skinner completing the top five for Cheshire Mouldings Yamaha as he looks to bounce back from a crash in yesterday’s opening race.

Storm Stacey was sixth fastest on the Bathams AJN Racing Ducati ahead of yesterday’s race winner Bradley Ray and Ryan Vickers for Honda Racing UK.

Ilya Mikhalchik had a strong start to the day in ninth place for the ROKiT BMW Motorrad British Superbike Race team, whilst Danny Kent completed the top ten.
