Ryde leads Cook by 0.113s in final Free Practice

04 July 2026

Kyle Ryde topped the final ZYN British Superbike Championship Free Practice session at Snetterton this morning, holding off Max Cook and Scott Redding with the leading trio separated by 0.800s.

The pace wasn’t as fast as the times set in Pre-Qualifying yesterday, but the reigning champion still had the edge at the chequered flag to keep the AJN Steelstock bimota team in second place with Redding holding a strong third place.

Leon Haslam was back in the top five, which was completed by Storm Stacey who narrowly pushed rookie Joe Talbot into sixth place on the second of the AJN Steelstock bimotas. Home contender Ryan Vickers was seventh, remaining ahead of Christian Iddon and Rory Skinner.

Ilya Mikhalchik again had a strong session as he builds momentum with the ROKiT BMW Motorrad British Superbike Race team to complete the top ten, whilst yesterday’s pace-setter Bradley Ray only completed a handful of laps, holding pace in reserve ahead of this afternoon’s ROKiT Oxygen Performance Qualifying.
