Barry Burrell and Bobby Varey will take a pole apiece in this evening’s Heat races after emerging fastest in qualifying.
After leading in practice, defending champion Burrell was once again fastest in this morning’s qualifying, clocking a 1min 59.838sec lap to claim pole for Heat One.
Varey was second fastest, 0.203secs adrift of Burrell to head the grid in Heat Two.
Both will line up with a Smith twin alongside, as Christian was third and Kieran fourth quickest. Nikki Coates, meanwhile, will round out the front row in Heat One while 2024 champ Thomas Strudwick lines up third in Heat Two.
