Quattro Group British Supersport Championship: Stapleford stays ahead to beat Kennedy to pole

04 July 2026

Luke Stapleford and Jack Kennedy continued to lead the way in this morning’s qualifying session – but it was points leader Stapleford who took pole.

The pair have been battling for the best times all weekend so far – and this morning’s qualifying continued in the same way.

Stapleford once again was able to just pip his rival, powering to a 1min 50.071s lap to bag pole by 0.294s, with Kennedy forced to settle for second position on the grid.

Once again, Knockhill winner Oli Bayliss was the best of the rest, securing third on the grid.

Kennedy’s Honda Racing UK team-mate Dean Harrison was fourth quickest with Oliver Barr fifth.

There was a bit of a shake up in the Cup, as Cam Swain was fastest in the class, with Adam Hartgrove second and Jamie Richmond third.
