Marley Mackenzie pipped championship rival Luca Hopkins to the fastest lap of this evening’s practice session, setting a best time of 1min 47.009secs.
It was enough to keep the Kirkcaldy Kawasaki rider ahead by almost a second, with Hopkins ending the session 0.905secs down in second place.
Third quickest was Laken Payne with Ryan van Nieuwkerk fourth and Ben Jolliffe fifth.
