Reigning champion Barry Burrell was back in action at Snetterton today - and powered straight to the top of the free practice timesheets.
Just a fortnight after claiming he didn’t know if he’d be back this season following his dominant weekend at Knockhill, he has returned already on his Halliwell Jones machine.
His best lap of 1min 59.736secs took him 0.510secs clear of Christian Smith who ended the session second, as Nikki Coates – looking to make amends after his disqualification at Knockhill – was third.
Bobby Varey was fourth quickest with 2024 champion Thomas Strudwick fifth.
