Jack Dunabie emerged victorious after another close-run Moto4 battle, powering to his fourth win of the season at the end of a hectic 14 laps.
Dunabie flew off the line from second on the grid into the lead from polesitter Marco Holt but in true Moto4 style, it was to a race where the lead changed dozens of times.
The battle became a six-way scrap as Dunabie, Ryan Frost, Holt and Harrison Day all hit the front as the lead swapped corner after corner, lap after lap.
Rookie Day took himself out of the equation when he crashed from the lead at Stirling’s on the ninth lap and Dunabie hit the front again.
Holt and Frost both took their turns at the front and Frost was leading as they began the final lap. Dunabie hit the front again, Frost took the place back again at Hawthorns but Dunabie pounced again, squeezing past and leading over the line to win by 0.023secs to close in on Frost in the championship
Frost was second with Jack Burrows third, Holt fourth and Luke Fitchett fifth.
