Pirelli British Sportbike Championship: Mackay celebrates back-to-back wins with victory over Fleerackers

19 July 2026

Harrison Mackay proved his Snetterton success was no fluke as he powered to this morning’s Sportbike win by more than four seconds ahead of Ferre Fleerackers.

The action began from the moment the lights changed as polesitter Fleerackers and Mackay went straight into battle at the sharp end.

The lead swapped between the pair of them a number of times in the opening laps before Taylor Rose came into play, and it became a three-way fight, the lead changing between all three until Lap Seven when Rose crashed and Fleerackers had to take evasive action to avoid getting caught up.

This gave Mackay a bit of a break at the front and he was able to clear off unchallenged as Fleerackers spent the final four laps playing catch up, eventually going from fourth to second in the final lap.

Championship leader Alfie Davidson was third with Asher Durham fourth and Harley McCabe fifth.
