Ryan Vickers will line up at the opening round of the Superbike World Championship in Australia next month, joining the Honda HRC factory team as a wildcard for the opening round of the season.
Vickers joins Honda Racing UK for this season on his return to the British Superbike Championship, and already had the opportunity to experience the Honda CBR1000RR-R at the end of last year, when he joined the Honda HRC team at the WorldSBK Test at Jerez.
Vickers will join official rider Jake Dixon and official test rider Tetsuta Nagashima, who deputises for the injured Somkiat Chantra, at the event.
