Powerslide has announced the return of R3 World Cup race winner Cameron Swain this season as he lines up in the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship grid in the HEL British Supersport Cup for 2026.
Swain made his debut in the class with a wild card appearance at Donington Park last season, but is now preparing for his first full campaign in the UK after competing in Australia and most recently in the FIM Yamaha R3 bLU cRU World Cup.
Swain said: “I’m so happy to be racing full time with Powerslide Suzuki for the 2026 season and can’t thank Brad, Dale and Dave enough for the opportunity. After jumping on as a wildcard at Donington Park last year, I knew right away this was where I wanted to be. The team work well in the garage, are super driven and we can have a laugh together, so honestly that’s half the battle won already.
“The plan for 2026 is to become more competitive every round, fully learn the British tracks and hopefully be fighting for top tens consistently by the end of the year. Being born in the UK, and half British, I’m looking forward to spending time exploring my roots and getting to know the ever so passionate British fans!
Team Manager Dave Tyson commented: “It’s great for the team to expand and be developing more young talent with Cam joining us for the full season this year. The HEL Supersport Cup is a perfect place for him to learn the tracks here in BSB and push towards those top ten finishes and wins in class. Cam was great to work with when he did the wildcard with us last season and showed good potential, so we can’t wait to get started with him on board the Powerslide GSX-R750.”
