Ash Beech led the way in today’s Superstock session – but it was this morning’s leader, Scott Swann, who holds the fastest lap overnight.
After a dry morning, the highly anticipated rain arrived during the Superbike session, around half an hour before the Superstock bikes headed out, which meant nobody was in a position to improve their times.
With many riders opting not to head out, Beech emerged quickest of those who did, clocking a 1min 41.956sec lap, 0.123secs clear of Lewis Rollo.
But it was long way off Swann’s dry lap of 1min 28.698sec this morning, as the Swann Racing by SMR rider, who opted not to go out this afternoon, led the practice times ahead of tomorrow’s qualifying.
Pirelli National Superstock Championship, Combined practice:
1. Scott Swann (Swann Racing by SMR) 1min 28.698s
2. David Allingham (SMS/Nicholl Oils BMW) +0.081s
3. Ash Barnes (Rapid Honda with Drivelife) +0.230s
4. Matt Truelove (TAG Racing Honda) +0.288s
5. Lewis Rollo (Motorrad Central Edinburgh by MLav Racing) +0.432s
