Scott Redding arrives at Cadwell Park this weekend determined to secure his first ZYN British Superbike Championship podium at the Lincolnshire track with the Hager PBM Racing Team.
Redding holds second place in the standings ahead of this weekend’s final three races of the Main Season and knows he needs a strong points haul to close down Kyle Ryde at the top of the standings.
Redding said: “Cadwell Park is a track that I am looking forward to this weekend. It is a quite a difficult one for me, but every year I feel better and better there. It is a track where track knowledge is quite important there and experience helps a bit there.
“I feel like this year we have a bike that is a bit more competitive and I am looking forward to it; the weather looks a bit up and down, but it is the same for everyone and we will take it as it comes. For me, I would be happy if I can get a podium at Cadwell Park as it is a place where I have never been on the box so looking forward to it.”
