R&G Moto4 British Cup: Frost doubles up to extend points lead

16 August 2026

Ryan Frost boosted his championship lead as he stormed to his second win of the weekend after a six-rider scrap in today’s race.

After clearing off yesterday, he had no such luck today as he spent the entire 14 laps locked in a battle with Jack Dunabie, Marco Holt, Jack Burrows, Luke Fitchett and Tyler Humphries which went all the way to the finish line.

Dunabie led into the first corner but Frost was ahead two corners later, only to drop back to P2 as Dunabie came through, bringing Holt with him.

From there lead changed constantly lap after lap between the leading six as they gapped the rest of the pack and as the final lap began, it seemed as if  any one of them could take the win.

But a backmarker near the end of the lap determined the result. Frost got through cleanly but Dunabie but the rest got slightly held up, giving Frost the tiniest bit of breathing space which enabled him to charge to the line unchallenged.

Holt was second, 0.155secs behind with Dunabie third, Burrows fourth and Humphries fifth.
