Lewis Mullen held off Luca Wilkinson to win the second Junior Sportbike race of the weekend by 0.065secs.
The 10-lap race proved to be full of action and drama with the lead swapping several times. Polesitter Marley Mackenzie was fastest off the line to take the lead and while Arnie Carr briefly moved ahead, Mackenzie was back in front by the start of Lap Two.
Carr was soon back in front, leading until Lap Four when Laken Payne hit the front, dropping back to second when Wilkinson moved ahead on the following lap before Ben Jolliffe stormed to the front.
Payne was back ahead by Lap Eight but Mullen quickly found a way past on the penultimate lap and managed to defend the spot from Wilkinson to the flag, as the battle raged for the final podium position.
Payne crossed the line third but was handed a two-second penalty for running off track on Lap Eight, dropping him to 10th in the order. This promoted Carr to third with Jolliffe fourth and Mackenzie fifth.
