Bradley Ray and the McAMS Yamaha team are geared up for this weekend’s return to Thruxton for the latest stop in the ZYN British Superbike Championship, at a circuit that has seen Yamaha riders undefeated since 2019.
Coming off a successful weekend at Oulton Park and heading to a circuit that has favoured the Yamaha R1 for previously, Ray has high hopes for the weekend ahead. Last time out at Oulton Park, he secured a second race win of the season, along with two further hard-earned podium finishes and is hungry for more this weekend.
Ray said: "I'm really looking forward to getting back to work with the boys at McAMS Yamaha this weekend. Thruxton has been a strong circuit for me and the Yamaha R1 in the past, so we're heading into the weekend with confidence in our ability to fight at the front.
“Oulton Park last time out was a positive one, and I believe we're capable of fighting for those sort of results every weekend. We'll hit the ground running on Friday and aim to make some strides forward ahead of the weekend's qualifying and races. We'll give it 110% no matter what happens, and hopefully we can take away some podiums for our efforts."
