MLav Racing launch Pirelli National Superstock line-up of Rollo and Reid at Donington Park

05 April 2026

The MLav Racing team will return in the 2026 Pirelli National Superstock Championship to defend their title with a new rider line-up of Lewis Rollo and Simon Reid onboard the BMW M 1000 RR.

Rollo will return to the Superstock class on the Motorrad Central Edinburgh By MLav Racing BMW as he returns to action after sitting out the majority of last season following an injury after securing the BSB Evo title in 2024.

Reid joins the team on the Carl Cox BMW By MLav Racing, returning to action in the UK after competing in the Middle East, having been a podium contender previously in the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship.

Rollo said: “I am really looking forward to this season; it all came together last minute but we got everything kick started and they have worked really hard to get us testing and I really appreciate all the hard work they have put in to get us here. I have clicked with both the bike and the team straight away and I am looking forward to this season.

“Huge thanks to Michael and the MLav team and also to Motorrad Central Edinburgh who came onboard this year as my title sponsor. They have been a company that me and my family have used for many years, buying road bikes through them, so for them to come onboard is fantastic and thank you to all my personal sponsors.

“It was horrible to sit on the sidelines after injury last year, but to be back on a bike and feeling better than ever is brilliant. Hopefully we can have a strong season and hopefully have a good chance at the title.”

Reid said: “First of all, I am super excited to join the Carl Cox BMW by MLav Racing team this year, it has been something that I have been working on for a while. I have been working with Alpha Racing in the Middle East and have been involved in a few projects there that went really well and they were keen to support me. Me and Michael have always had a good relationship and now finally it has fallen into place!

“I am proud to bring Carl Cox and Alpha Racing into the MLav team and I feel that we have a really great package and a strong team of people. It was great to be at Donington Park after a test in Spain and that was super positive and I absolutely love the bike, it is so much fun to ride. I can’t wait to get the season started and get racing again here.”

Team Manager Nathan Smith commented: "It’s great for us as a team to have two experienced riders that can win races. The creation of the Superstock team came late in the day, so to have this calibre of riders combined with the sponsors and partners to match, means we are starting the season in a position to fight for the championship again after winning the title last year.

"We are looking forward to working with both Lewis and Simon, who had it tough last year for their own unfortunate reasons. We are confident that we can give them both the tools to do the job, whilst also being in an environment that they will enjoy being a part of. We are excited for the season ahead."
