Skinner: “We’ve made great progress and I’m ready”

30 April 2026

Rory Skinner is gearing up for the opening round of the ZYN British Superbike Championship at Oulton Park this Bank Holiday weekend (May 2/3/4) as the Scottish contender prepares for the first races on the Cheshire Mouldings Yamaha.

Skinner admits that Oulton Park hasn’t been the best circuit for him in the past, but is now excited about the prospect of changing that this weekend, building on their pre-season preparations to have a strong start to the new season.

Skinner said: “I’m really excited to start the 2026 season, Oulton Park in the past hasn’t been the kindest to me, but after a successful test last week I’m really excited to be returning to the circuit this weekend to race. With the change from Ducati to Yamaha for this year, I feel like testing has been really busy for us, but we’ve made great progress and I’m ready to get things underway!”
